Just a quickie after me intro E&L appear to be about the most competative for insurance that is unless you good folk have any other suggestions. Zurich are 30% more expensive so I'll pass on that one.

Welcome to the site, it all depends on the size of your van, we have a BMW 320D auto and it does quite good MPG for a auto we dont tow with it though
I am planning on going to Italy in the summer and I have a couple of camping sites in mind. Does anyone know the Flaminio Village Camping Bungalow Park near Rome or the Camping Le Palme Village? Any other suggestions for that area? Also I was wondering if anyone knows how to get cheap internet in Italy? I need to stay in touch with the folks and like to watch films or play games on rainy days Is there some kind of dongle I can get? Ta for your help!
Years ago we used to camp, but once we tried a package Mediterranean holiday, all that stopped.
Now, my wife's just retired, we've just bought an abi Sprinter400D, don't pick it up until end of January, so we've time to start looking for all those must have bits and bobs. Also to find a storage fee for less than Ģ350 a year within reasonable distance, no luck so far . Never had that problem with the tent!!!

Hello everybody, my husband and I have decided that a fold up caravan is the way to go for us, so we went to look at gobur caravans at Melton Constable and fell in love with a little beauty, she is 26 years old and in her prime! What a sweetie. It looks like a lot of fun.
We want a van to go to re enactment weekends and to go to see our son, daughter in law and first grandson in west Sussex. We didn't want a large caravan, I'm nervous about towing and we don't have a lot of space down our drive next to our house, so this seems ideal for all we want.
Before I have a trawl through all the posts have you got any tips for us before we hand over our hard earned cash? What should we look for? What is the best thing about fold ups? What's the worst?
I can't wait for your replies. Should I have started a new thread (see, I know the lingo)?
