Is damp a really bad thing or can it be dealt with quite hassle free and cheaply? |

There is nothing falling off and i have had a closer look today and it only seems to be a minor case to be honest the frame around the effected area is still sound. Also had a go at fixing the cause (which was a lot messier than i thought it would be ) took the front top rail off from above the windows and oh my god all sorts of crap had been used to try and seal it in a previous bodge so it was a case of remove as much of the old crap a good wipe down with some white spirits and application of the fresh adhesive and some sealant just for good measure hopefully thats it sorted and maybe in time i will get round to replacing the very small panel of ply wood on the inside. |
