Had a Reich Mover fitted a few weeks ago to my Coachman Amara. Excellent piece of kit.
I have read loads of comments on all the makes of movers and I came to the conclusion that it is down to personal choice. Whichever make/model you fit it could break down.
I see a lot of people recommending Power touch. Yes they look a great mover but I am aware of caravanners having them removed from their caravans and the movers returned as they were not happy with them. I am sure this has also happened to the others.

A unique new mover was exhibited at the NEC this week by Protec .
Called the Multi Mover it's basically a battery powered minature tractor on rubber tracks which pushes and pulls the caravan when clipped to the A frame.
It has it's own rechargeable battery ( uses solar power and/or 240v ), and stows away when not in use , weight advised at 16kg .
Like a conventional mover it's remote controlled .
it gets my vote for the most interesting new product at the show .

One to watch out for.

I agree on the Multi Mover, its very interesting. I service caravans and motormovers can make the jacking up of a van very difficult. Could you change a tyre at the side of the road with your motormover hiding the jacking up point? I have also been to customers who have seriously damaged their mover on speed bumps.

Motormovers are very good, they do exactly what it says on the tin. did you know that you can get the Royal range with a seven year warranty! See the MCEA web site. Club MCEA

I would say don't just go for a mover because its something to spend your money on. If you need one then great if your unsure then just look at how they block access to the axle and jacking point first. Then you pays your money andtakes your choice of some excellent movers on the market.

Hi, and welcome, are you promoting Combimover as an advertisment?

Thing is my dad`s 1,8ton Adria could do with a mover. I have been told in fakt 2 movers should be fitted there like Powrwheel AWD. But why buy 2 if one can do the job. Since my question has anybody got such Combimover fitted to confirm what promotional videos promise. cheers
