Whilst going to work at 6am,yesterday morning,I noticed a car towing a caravan.Wow I thought they must be eager to get away. And again today I noticed another van on the road.So was wandering if many members are back out in their vans again. Our first trip is booked for March 2 nd.(Although when we had the motorhome we were out all year)

End of February for us, depending on weather. We have had so much to do in the house that for the last couple of years we have not been away from November to February.

Perhaps next week, half term, but with a 2 wheel drive car, 20 year old van and a 5 year old we'll have to choose routes ans site carefully +1C and foggy in north Essex at the mo.

Maybe the end of the month if the weather improves, its seems a long time since we last went away in the van, end September last year.

Being up the North of Scotland I did't think I'd see many caravans on the road this early, but I have been surprised at the number that have been travelling up the A9 and indeed have seen 3 or 4 in the last week heading south as well

We had a nice few days at the CC's Broadway site 26th to 31st Jan arriving back just in time to escape the snow.
We had a lovely time with plenty of sun though it was very cold. Got in a fair bit of cycling the Vale of Evesham, the primary reason to chose this new to us site. It was very pleasant there so will not resist using it again off the silly season.

One reason you might be seeing caravans on the road is people taking them for service? We live a few villages away from a big national dealer and frequently see vans going in and out of there when in that area.

Yes Ocsid, you may well be right with regards to the servicing theory.
Saw a few more vans on the motorway this weekend Smile
Went around to check our van, couldn,t believe how cold it was inside.I think it was warmer outside Rolling Eyes .I think it,s due to being kept undercover.Roll on March 2nd,

We had 2 nights (17th &18th Feb) at Tredegar House in Newport. It was mainly to check out the Van, lucky we did as we had a burst bridging pipe.
