An Avatar is the little image that is used to represent you in the forums, it can be static or Animated
To Add an avatar, firstly you need the picture, this can be in .jpg, .gif format and its width can be no greater than 100 pixels, the height no greater than 100 pixels, and the file size no more than 100 KB.
There are plenty of free avatars online or use an image of you when travelling or on site somewhere, the pictures can be shrunk to the correct size by using the Shrink Pictures website and selecting 100 pixels as maximum size
Once you have the avatar image correctly sized then click on the Profile Link above the forums in the links section which looks like the below links
Bookmarks • Watched Topics • Arcade • Attachments • Buddy List • Forum FAQ • Search • Usergroups • Profile • Memberlist • No new messages
View Online • Ranks • Rules • Statistics • Staff Site • Log Out
Clicking the profile link takes you to the Edit Profile Page
Scroll down to the Avatar Control Panel section
Click Browse to upload the image from your computer to CaravanFacts
and then Submit its as easy as that
We also have some predefined avatars that can be used, these can be seen by clicking the Show Gallery button on the Avatar Control Panel section |
