Keeping an eye on tyre pressure can be a pain but not with these little gadgets

>> FLASHING ONES <<

And

>> NORMAL ONES <<

You can also find them on ebay. I have seen the flashing ones and i am told they work well. I will be buying some for my Elddis when i get it Smile

I use the normal ones and find them very good also use them on the car and motorbikes and can't fault them.

These look a really good idea.

Sure beats dragging round the compressor evertime you venture out.

Could anybody give me some advise on the correct tyre pressure please.

I have a 17 year old Avondale (5berth). I bought it second hand, it's in very good condition for it's age but no original paperwork with it.

Thankyou

what model is it?

Also does it have any plated weights on it?

what tyres are already fitted?

Basic rule of thum is

Required tyre pressure is the Actual weight. of 'van multiplied by Max Tyre pressure as marked on side-wall), divided by the Max. Tyre Load (stated on side-wall) times the number of tyres/wheels.

eg. Weight of 'van = 1400 Kg.
Max.Tyre Pressure = 66 psi
Max Tyre Load = 775 Kg.
No. Of tyres/wheels = 2 (single axle - 4 if double axle obviously)

(1400 X 66) divided by (775 X 2)
= 60 psi.
