Hi, a good friend of mine is considering buying a new Kia Sportage 4x4 2.0 CRDi XS 4WD 5dr. Has anybody out there got one who could give me some feedback on the +/- of the car. He is hoping to tow a caravan which weighs in around 1600kgs. Is the car up to the job. |

We had a Sorento a couple of years ago and thought of changing it to a Sportage as it was uncomfortable. The dealer did not recommend it for towing so we hung on to the Sorento.
It did not win the CC tow car of the year. Never came anywhere near it. It was the Sorento you are thinking of.
We now have a Kia Carens 2litre diesel which is extremely comfortable and economical. Also pulls our Swift Challenger 560 well. |
