Dometic Fridge Freezer Product Recall
Dometic GMBH, suppliers of caravan refrigerators, has announced a recall on one of its products.
The units in question is the double door 135 litre fridge freezer, code number RM7651L, and was fitted to all Senator Series 5 Wyoming and Louisiana models.
If you have not already done so please can you call the following toll free number below to book an appointment for the necessary remedial work to be carried out.

Hi, the only recall i know of on this model is the failure of a screw that holds the bottom of the cooling unit to the fridge body. Which cause the cooling unit to vibrate and abrade the gas supply pipe to the burner. |

Don't like the sound of that. I have a 2006 Wyoming with the double door fridge. As I purchased the caravan secondhand (only last week!!) will I still be covered by this recall and get the fault checked/repaired free of charge? |

Hi, Yes you should get the mod done free of charge by any Dometic service partner, we have been asked to check this model fridge for the mod, if it has not been done we are to carry it out no matter the the reason for being called out. Ring the number given on the previous post with the model no: and the product No: of your fridge and they will advise. |
