What part of the caravan has faded and what’s the age of the van?
If it is a patch on a side panel then it has probably been painted before with cellulose paint and a LIGHT Tcut will polish it up like new. If it's the front or rear panel and they are GRP then a good buff up with compound should bring the shine back.
The cost of a re-spray will not be cheap and so you might want to re-think depending on the value of the van.
