Can anyone recommend a good site for visiting the North Yorkshie coast. We are looking for somewhere with good clean facilities and preferably a level sheltered site as this will be only our second outing with our new van. So seeing as we are still finding out what we have with the van and getting used to things we are just looking for somewhere for a nice easy break.
sorry didn't realize that this was for continental touring. Oh well I suppose North Yorkshire might oneday be classed in this category. Will leave the post in and just hope that someone out there can help. You never know one day when we feel more confident we may go continental.

hi there , try searching the web for ladycross plantation near whitby, lovely site , or join the caravan club and visit hundereds of nice clean sites all over the country.
Thanks Kenny and Stella, will probably be giving the site a visit this month. Also will be visiting Scotland in the coming weeks as we have a son who lives just south of Glasgow. I am in the process of finding a site or CL nearby. It was definitely easier on our last visit to find a hotel but then we couldn't take the two dogs with us.
Used to belong to the Caravan Club and thought that their sites and facilities were great so think that we will be rejoining. Thanks for your advice.
