I don't think that I've posted it on this forum but here goes anyway.

Whilst away in the winter months we were experiencing dampness in the cupboard round the wheelarch and the corner of the wardrobe (i left open at night).

This was caused by the very low outside temperature and the warmer air in the Caravan. The bunk beds over the wheel arch when erected left a slight gap in to teh cupboard allowing the warmer air to hit the wheel arch.

Now to overcome this I ourchased a twin pack of rechargable Dehumidifiers. The crystals inside are blue when they are fully dry and they turn pink when they have fully absorbed as much moisture as they can take.

Since using these all dampness caused by the difference in temperatures has now been cured for a price of less than £20.

Paul

I was looking at those things but never got round to buying them.
You only need to plug them into the mains to reset them don't you?

The crystals start off Blue when they are dry and go Pink when they can take no more moist out of the air.

You will need to plug them in to the main for up to 14 hours (basically the unit heats itself up) to get them ready for use again.

So far I've found these very good.
