Just ordered my first new caravan (Bailey Pageant Series 7),and have been recommended by the dealer to have a protective coating applied to the exterior and interior of the van ( Paint Seal Direct.com ).
Has anybody had this protection applied to their van and is it worth it.
I have had similar offers when purchasing a new car but have always been warned off them by various people who have had negative experiences with paint protective applications. Therefore can I assume it is the same for caravan surfaces ?

Hello
We run the Adria owners club and some of our members have had it done and they are very impressed with this treatment. The seats just wipe clean and the exterior keeps like new.We have not have this done because our caravan is old.

I suppose its like all things that you have to look at if its worth the extra cost. I can understand the interior being protected but I would have thought a good polish outside would do just as well.
It also depends on how often you change your Caravan and if you have kids etc. If you change your Caravan every 2-3 years then I suspect that the paint protection may not be worth the expense.
Good luck with the new Caravan.
