Hi all,
Just a quick comment.
Having been to Llangollen the other week, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get away for the weekend. The area has such loevely scenery and the walk across the aquaduct is stunning.
Few pictures here: http://llangollen.wordpress.com/
Don't forget to pop into the Ponderosa cafe on the Horsehore pass, where you can get yourself a fairly cheap but simple meal. |

....and within easy reach of Chllanggochlin (like my Welsh pronunciation??) is my favourite caravan site in the entire UK (so far). The Plassey just west of Wrexham. It even has its own micro-brewery! |

Whilst camping at the Plassey I recommend the The Shippon Restaurant on the site, (actually taking some Friends over from New Zealand there tonight as I only live 3/4mile away from it ).Iagree with earlier poster,it`s a very good site, some of my local caravanning pals book in for a few nights even though they just live on the doorstep so to speak. |
