Getting a satellite cable in to the caravan

Why not install a waterproof socket box on the outside wall of your van. Several are available for TV only, satellite only, or both.
Then you simply plug in your satellite cable to the external socket and no trailing wires through windows.

Taking pets abroad

WE have been taking our Miniature poodle to France ( all over ) Switzerland Italy for the last 11 years, when the Pets passport Scheme first started. There should be no problem for your westies. Just make sure they are ticked and tape wormed BEFORE your trip, It is not a requirement but a precautionary method of keeping them safe.

Any thing I can help with PM me.
Ps in France at the moment

can anyone recommend a tow car?

I use a Kia Sorento & have a massive twin axel van its the best tow car I have ever had
If you are considering to use your caravan on CLs or CSs during winter then a 4x4 is a must I have had 2 Mondeos both got stuck in mud & snow whilst towing
Have a look at the Skoda 4x4 estate diesel I had one before the Sorento but cant remember its weight

Water Ingress on Lunar Lexon EB 2009 model

You have water ingress problems ?? Our LUNAR is less than two years old ans is presently having the whole of the upper front end replaced because of serious damp. Just one of five serious problems that has involved us returning it to dealers five times plus engineer visiting on site site - A nightmare.

Having had my LUNAR less than two years and back to the Dealers five times plus an engineer out on site I am very sympathetic but I doubt whether you will actually get any proper support or compensation from the manufacturers. They don't seem to have a clue as to the disruption and stress it causes to holidays - They just like your money. Ours is presently back having a new upper front replaced due to serious damp !! What a waste of money.
