Hi All. Can anyone give me some advice with regards to making my awning (Pyramid Tuscany) more secure next season. We will be in Wales on grass and I want to try to add emxtra support and cross beams to cope with high winds.
Any suggestions?
Thanks everyone.

You could buy one of those storm tie downs. It goes over the front of the awning from left to right, or right to left. It is a thick strap which is pegged at one end and has a spring effect which also is pegged. If you have erected the awning and pegged it down and have used guy ropes it should in theory stay up in most inclement weather. Not withstanding force 9 gales etc.

As Bob says using a storm strap is best. If you go to Ebay and look at this item number 120591309310 it will show you what they are, and enlarge the picture you can see how they fit.

Awning clamps can stop the fluttering and flapping of your awning. Otherwise, you may secure your awnings with the use of straps wrapped around the awning arms to strengthen the latches.
