Not sure if anyone has ever seen an awning like this one that was erected on a Camping & Caravanning certificated location that we were staying at a few weeks ago.

Wow Shocked .Thought you could only stay on a cl for 28-31days max ????.Would it be worth building a wooden awning.?

@topdog14 LOL!

Maybe if the camping site is just in your backyard, then it's worth the time and effort to build that type of awning. However, if you'll be using that on a camp site, it will took you centuries before you completely finish it. Very Happy

Well we went to the same site a couple of weeks ago they had put roofing felt on the roof, fitted a wooded door, put glass/plastic in the window & fitted solar lights to the outside of it.

Looks like its there for a while, just a bit worried if an inspector from the Camping & caravanning club pays a visit, they would not take kindly to have that on a CS

The Norwegians tend to use that sort of thing but on a permanent pitch, a guy I work with has one that is a lot bigger with a separate bedroom and living room, I did not think I would see this in the UK especially on a cs site.
