Hi all

I am very new to all of this and was wondering if any of you could offer some advice. My partner has recently bought a Panache eSpril caravan as we travel all over the UK as his hobby is autograss racing. I am not sure of the year of the caravan but I am guessing it is early 90's. I would like to get an awning for the caravan so we can also use it on non-race weekends with the children but have no idea how they work. I know how to work out what size I need but how do they attach to the caravan? Also are they universal or do you need a certain make for your van?

Sorry if these seem really silly questions but any advice would be very welcomed.

Many thanks

not a silly question

there is a silver awning trim that runs round the edge of your van a bit like this

you slide a seam all the way round the van then put the poles in place see below video

Thank you so much 'roboughton' that has really helped. Now the search starts to find one to fit our caravan.

You may also want to check out the caravan awnings from awnings.co.uk. They have huge discounts across their stores.

Check out Towsure as well, we got our porch awning from them and are very satisfied with it.
