hi guys , im going to get a newer van , I bought a cheap damp meter from an auction site then done some internet reading and took fright and ended up buying an expensive one called a protimeter which works without the pointed probes using proximity to see thru tiles boards ect ect 2cm deep , as the van I want has a lot of internal surfaces that cant be penetrated in the usual way with probes , I was also worried people may not allow me to probe their vans with the spikes , big question is has anybody here used one and are they really as great as advertised ?
thanks in advance

Hi Kenny i have two , they are a great bit of kit , please note they are used specifically to acquire the moisture content of timber , i have used these for many years though as a timber and damp surveyor , detecting various amounts of moisture within different structures.
